With a great deal of effort and expense, Faber-Castell has converted historic premises in Stein, near Nuremberg, into a living witness to its industrial heritage. On two floors, visitors are now able to experience at first hand how pencil leads were manufactured in the 19th and 20th centuries. A unique feature is the authenticity of the site.
