What you need:

White drawing cardboard, Photo cardboard or Mi-Teint paper light blue, Graphite pencil, Graphite paper, Kneadable or eraser, Light green, shiny bast, White deco tape made from bast, Hole Puncher, Scissors, Pitt Artist Pens 120 Ultramarine, 146 Sky blue, 154 Light cobalt turquoise

Step 1

Print template in 100 %. Place the template on top of the drawing cardboard and attach the corners with adhesive tape. Put the graphite paper underneath the template with the dark side facing down. Go over the lines of the template with a graphite pencil. To check if the lines have been transferred, lift the graphite paper after the first lines. Remove the template.

Step 2

The lines should be weak, so they don’t shine through the colour later on. Reduce strong lines with a kneadable or an eraser.

Step 3

Draw contours and patterns and fill in the spaces with Pitt Artist Pens 120 Ultramarine, 146 Sky blue and 154 Light cobalt turquoise.

Step 4

Cut out the easter eggs.

Step 5

Place the easter eggs on blue cardboard and draw the contours with a graphite pencil.

Step 6

Cut out the blue easter eggs.

Step 7

Take three easter eggs in different sizes (painted ones and empty blue ones), put them together on one side and punch them.

Step 8

Thread the eggs onto bast tape. Make a knot after every egg, to make sure there remains a little distance between the eggs.

Step 9

Use Pitt Artist Pen 120 Ultramarine to write down a name following the egg shape. If you like, you can attach light green bast strips to the white one.
